U.S. AID and Population Control

Here are three links to items that every Catholic should be aware of in regard to the controversy surrounding AID cuts and their effects on Catholic programs.

First from the National Catholic Reporter:

“CRS {Catholic Relief Services] is the top recipient of funds from the U.S. Agency for International Development, known as USAID, which the Trump administration has targeted with a spending freeze, office closure and extensive staff cuts this week.”

From the National Catholic Register:

“The agency has, in effect, been operated on the morally bankrupt principle that the best way to eliminate poverty is to eliminate the children of the poor.”
