Circle the Wagons

Eric Sammons interviews Archduke Eduard Habsburg about the remarkable history of the Habsburg family and how we all might benefit by learning more about the “Habsburg Way.” There is much here of interest to history buffs but if that’s not your cup of tea the specific discussion of the importance of marriage, having kids, and family life begins at around the 42 minute mark.

“And also family is a place where the state can’t put their wires into your brain when you have family, this is a safe space. This is like, how do you call it when you make a circle of wagons to where the attackers can’t come in?”

Also here is a book review by Dr. Jeff Mirus of Eduard Habsburg’s newest book:

Building a Wholesome Family in a Broken World
